Jell-O Strawberry Bavarian Pie

Yield: Makes one 9-inch pie.

Ingredients

Add (3 oz.) Jell-O Strawberry Gelatin to shopping list 1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jell-O Strawberry Gelatin

Add sugar to shopping list 1 tablespoon sugar

Add salt to shopping list 1/8 teaspoon salt

Add boiling water to shopping list 1 cup boiling water

Add cold water to shopping list 1/2 cup cold water

Add (10-ounce) Birds Eye Quick Thaw Strawberries to shopping list 1 pkg. (10-ounce) Birds Eye Quick Thaw Strawberries

Add Birds Eye Cool Whip Non-Dairy Whipped Topping, thawed to shopping list 1 cup Birds Eye Cool Whip Non-Dairy Whipped Topping, thawed

Add baked 9-inch pie shell, cooled to shopping list 1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooled

Directions:

Dissolve Jell-O, sugar and salt in boiling water. Add cold water and frozen strawberries. Stir gently until fruit thaws and separates. Chill until slightly thickened. Add whipped topping; blend until smooth. ( Mixture may appear slightly curdled but will smooth out on blending. ) Pour into pie shell. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Garnsih with additional whipped topping, and mint leaves, if desired.
